Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)

This service is designed for parents who are overwhelmed with the conflicting information about the best way to toilet train their child or are finding it very difficult to toilet train their child. We also will train and encourage the parents to a part of the process and learn a variety of positive parenting skills (not just toilet training!).

It depends! Rather than focusing on the chronological age of the child we instead look at the related developmental skills and toilet readiness. If your child isn’t ready for toilet training yet, we can make additional recommendations to help your child develop the skills they need for toilet training.

Yes! This is our specialty. We can toilet train all children who are exhibiting signs or readiness and fulfill our prerequisite requirement for toilet training. Renee has over 15 years experience with Autistic children and those with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Depending on the child’s needs, ongoing program supervision may be beneficial. We also recommend that you look at the other services we offer, including Early Intensive Behaviour Intervention (ABA).

This will vary based on your child, your goals and levels of success you’ve had in the past. We can use the initial checklist to assist with this. However, you can always increase the intensity of the services
you’ve asked for and this is something that we can discuss either during a short, complimentary discovery call or in your Initial Toilet Training Assessment meeting.
